Following and adding friends via Facebook, and Twitter is fine. Following a small group of close friends is fun. But following a large group of friends is no fun. And that too, at places like twitter, keeping up with the tweets is a challenge by itself. Twitter through its blog has made it official about the new list feature which is soon to launch. These lists would help group the tweets into the service itself rather than using third party apps to group and better follow the tweets. Developers too, can enjoy the accompanying Lists API that will be made avilable. The lists is under limited testing and would be available soon.

- “72.5% of all users joining during the first five months of 2009

- There are more women on Twitter (53%) than men (47%)
